The duties of the Tyrolean Ski Instructors Association are monitored as an institution for self-administration.

The Tyrolean Ski Instructors Association is the legal professional representation of more than7,000 ski, snowboard and cross-country instructors as well as child care personnel and approximately 350 Tyrolean ski schools. The task of the Tyrolean Ski Instructors Association is regulated by the  laws of the Tiroler Schischulgesetz.
The Tiroler-Schilehrerverordnung governsfurther provisions on suitability and supplementary examinations as well as training and examinations.
